Information and purposes

Stylux processes applicant identity and contact details, CV and employment history, qualifications, portfolio, interview records, salary expectations, right-to-work information, references and reasonable-adjustment information to manage recruitment, assess suitability, communicate with candidates, make offers, protect legal rights and meet employment obligations.


Lawful bases

Processing is based on steps requested before an employment contract, legitimate interests in fair and effective recruitment, and legal obligations. Special-category or criminal-offence information is processed only where a separate legal condition applies and the information is necessary and proportionate.


Sources and sharing

Information comes from candidates, recruitment agencies, referees, professional networking platforms and lawful public sources. It may be shared with authorised hiring personnel, recruitment and assessment providers, IT providers, professional advisers and authorities where required. Stylux does not permit overseas personnel to access applicant information unless separately authorised and protected.


Retention

Unsuccessful candidate records are normally retained for up to 12 months after the recruitment process, unless a longer period is agreed for future opportunities or needed for a legal claim. Successful candidate information transfers to the staff privacy framework and personnel record.


Rights and complaints

Candidates can contact info@stylux.uk to exercise applicable rights or make a data-protection complaint. The complaints process and ICO escalation described in the Website and Customer Privacy Notice apply.
